New RV Park being built in Michigan

Happy to say not everything in Michigan is gloom and doom. According to the Muskegon Chronicle, construction began last week on a new RV Resort adjacent to Michigan Adventure. A 299 site upscale camground. The first phase featuring 157 sites are to be open in the spring of 2009. They expect peak summer rates to be $45 - $55.

RE: Alltel/Verizon merger

Your assumption is logical, that the two will merge and you will get the best of both worlds. However, that may not be true. When Sprint and Nextel merged I thought the same thing. I have had Nextel for several years, when I wanted to add some Sprint features I found I
couldn't do that. The only reason I still have Nextel is for business reasons. It seems Nextel and Sprint are the same but different and never the twain shall meet.

RE: Holland State Park, Michigan - BADDDDD TIMING! (Long)

I have camped at Holland State Park several times in the
past years, usually at the Beach Campground.
I have made the remark to DW several times, particularly
this year. Holland State Park has the some of the worst
enforcement of any park I have been in. I don't know
why that is. One of my main beefs is the speed of
vehicles thru the campground and also to may vehicles
at campsites. We camped at the Beach 2 weeks ago, there
were evenings we never saw a park officer.
That's my rant for the day. Thanks for listening.

Fresh Water Tank

How much Fresh Water do you normally carry when leaving
home in route to a destination? Potentially I can carry
90 gal which converts to about 750 lbs of weight, but less
the weight the better mpg. I came from Fifth Wheel last
year and used to carry about one-third tank for hitch weight.
My question is, do you fill up the Fresh Water Tank before
leaving home??

RE: 55 mph National speed limit

No National Speed Limit.
Just don't flip me me the bird as you go by if I chose to drive 55 - 60 and you wish to drive 70.

RE: Towing A Jeep Wrangler

I have a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Sahara.
I can find nowhere in the Owners Manual
that Chrysler qualifies the number of
miles a Jeep can me towed.
Sorry for your misfortune, but my
hope is that your problem is unique.

Diesel Mileage Question

Does anyone have any idea how fuel mileage compares
between a FRed chassis( Front end diesel)and a Rear-end
diesel. Does one promote better mileage than the other?

2008 HR Vacationer

I test drove a Vacationer XL, 2008. Roadmaster Chassis,
Diesel Pusher Cummins ISB 325 engine. This will be my
first Class A. Because I want a smaller MH but would also
want diesel power, this seems to be a fit.
I am not much of a gearhead, so I am looking for some
constructive comments on the Cummins engine, pro and con.
Thanks for your help.
